A visual artist of many mediums, Cat has been painting and drawing since childhood and continues to find joy in this expression. Her work primarily consists of stylized portraits of women inspired equally by the spiritual iconography of her Alabama youth and her decade-long delve into psychedelic plant exploration. "As a child I was always drawn to stained glass images of the madonna and religious figures with glowing halos. Recently, within my psychedelic experiences I would see energy radiating from people's heads in a similar way and the images took on new meaning for me. I love the notion of redefining the idea of holiness as the inherent life force that is within all of us. I try to convey that through my work.".
After 11 years in NYC and 2 years touring England, Cat is currently settled in Los Angeles and recently completed a 7 year project of a hand-drawn tarot deck which will be released early in 2021. She also penned the whimsical text for the design book, "A Tale of Interiors" by Pierce & Ward which was released this year. She is currently working on a new album and an Oracle deck both projected to be released in early 2022.
